Spotlight Curriculums allow us to dig into the underlying magic behind our yoga practice! These courses are all certified with the Yoga Alliance as Continuing Education Courses and count toward a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Helix Alternative Movement.
One part power flow, one part asana lab, one part Vedic storytelling, Spotlight Curriculums are progressive programs where we learn the inspiring intricacies of our absolute favorite poses and flows. This is an awesomely fun way to learn and embody the deeper aspects of our yoga practice. We then take these postures and weave them into our Flow of the Week!

UNSUNG HEROES
The Unsung Heroes Curriculum is a progressive program where we learn the inspiring intricacies of both popular and uncommon Warrior Poses over the course of five tutorial videos, building the framework for our final 90 minute Flow of the Week "Rise of the Warrior".
When we learn the histories behind the Warrior Poses, it changes the way we embody them.

RISE OF THE WARRIOR 2
HEROES VS. DEMONS
Heroes, saints and sages versus demons, monsters and mayhem. In the vibrant & mythic stories behind yoga poses, the lines between righteous and evil are not so clearly drawn and its quite easy to slip from good... to bad {muwah haa haaa}
In this "living series" (meaning, it will be continuously ongoing) we will continue to follow the warriors' journeys- focusing on those heroes who shift from good to bad and vice versa. Currently, we are focusing on my favorite serpent demon king- Vasuki! Vasuki, although a demon serpent- shows up time and time again in Hindu stories to step into the role of hero. And in his honor, we are learning liquid cobra transitions and spinal undulations. You don't want to miss this!

Celebration, Worship, Purification and Sacrifice. The fervent power of fire is called upon in ceremonies across every culture. A symbol of transformation, destruction and alchemy, fire when applied to our practice can help engender the change required to forge our unique path. Let's use it!
